CRAFT IDEA FOR YOU & YOUR TODDLER

FINGER PUPPETS — Three Little Pigs

Finger Puppets are so quick and easy to make and are perfect for entertaining little children. It’s a great idea to make familiar characters from well known children’s stories such as The Three Little Pigs.

To make these great little Finger Puppets, you will need:

Pencil
Medium Weight Coloured Cardboard in the particular colours of the characters you are making
Scissors
Tracing Paper
Paper Glue

Trace the templates for the pig and wolf – please email us to receive the template. Transfer the wolf onto brown cardboard and the pigs on to pink cardboard. Cut out each animal.

Cut eyes and noses for each animal from any small scraps of cardboard and stick them in place with the glue.

Cut out a small strip of paper wide and long enough to fit your fingers for each puppet. Stick each animal to the middle of the strip.

Stick the ends of each finger band together with the glue. Allow the puppets to dry for several hours before playing with them. Then use your imagination to create fantastic stories for your little ones or puppet shows combined with reading their favourite books.
