Living Organically can mean different things to different people. To some it is being Eco-Friendly, to others it is living a Green Lifestyle.
You don’t necessarily have to change every aspect of your lifestyle to Organic to make improvements. Everything from our Cosmetics, Toiletries, Food & Clothing can be produced organically.
From my perspective, changing our eating habits was the first and most important part that needed to be changed. It needed to be changed because it alarmed me greatly when I researched and read about the chemicals and unnecessary additives that are present in our food. What is more frightening is the harm that it is doing our children in the form of allergic reactions and more serious complications later in life. Children are more susceptible to toxins than adults simply because of the size difference, yet the majority of children are receiving over four times the recommended allowance in their diets due to lack of knowledge.
Did you know that up to 60 of the additives used in our food are questionable in terms of being harmful to our health. There are chemicals in our food that are often used for industrial applications and are regarded as hazardous!
There is no doubt that it is more expensive to eat organically, however it is still possible to reduce the number of undesirable additives in your food simply by reading the labels and knowing which additives are the ones to steer clear of. If you would like to receive a list of these undesirable additives as a quick reference for when you are shopping then drop us an email click here and we will get it straight out to you.
